Hi everyone, I would like to have 2 fields (Name and Surname) in my infopath form which i want to have a validation rule that disallow special characters/ diacritical marks. Users should be able to enter only q,w,e,r,t,y,u,i,o,p,l,k,j,h,g,f,d,s,a,z,x,c,v,b,n,m,Q,W,E,R,T,Y,U,I,O,P,L,K,J,H,G,F,D,S,A,Z,X,C,V,B,N,M and shouldn't be able to user character like: ę, ą, ż, ź, ń, ó, ć, ł, ś, ń, ä, ü, á, é, ő, ü etc. Please tell me how to do this. Thank you in advance

    You could do something like: translate(Input, " &/\*?<>:'.()[],", "")

     Input being your Name field.

If those fields are based on an AD user. I'd use PreferredName as a choice using the GetUserProfile service. Also if you're going to use Name+Surname for a url - don't! Especially if you're worried about special characters. Use a form load rule to set a file name i.e. translate(now(),":-T","")
