InfoPath Dev

Hello all, I have a form that I was working on for many days. I was working on it this morning and when I cam back the "Design This Form" icon is not active. Did not doi anything different than I have in the last week when devoping this form. Why does it seem like I am locked out of this from.

Hello Nikihoi,
Open your InfoPath form is Design mode, go to Tools -> Form Options in General tab you have a check box “Enable protection” if you select it “Design this Form” icon will be disabled on the tool bar.

Ummmmmmm... OK, I opened up the form, went to the tools drop down and selected options from there. I do not see anything to the likes of "Enable Protection"? Yes I was under the general tab.

Hello Nikihoi,
Did you open your form in Design mode? I mean open the manifest.xsn in Design mode by right clicking on manifest.xsn file and clicking option Design you will be able to open your infopath form in design mode after that follow these steps:
1. In design mode go to Tools -> Form Options in General tab
2. In General tab view Enable protection check box under Protection section
If this check box is checked then the Design this form icon on tool bar will be disabled.
