InfoPath Dev

Hi - I am making a form for my company and I want to be able to let the user click a button and attach as many files as s/he wants. I'd like to look similar to email...three file attachments available and then have a button that will say "attach more files..." and allow the user to upload as many as they want. Is this possible? I don't mind learning to code, but I am not very experienced. Thanks!

If you are using the InfoPath Filler we have an ActiveX control that allows drag and drop of the attachments onto the form directly. Email Support (at) Qdabra <dot> com for details.

Other than that, I don't know of a way to do this.

 

Relative newbie here. I got around this by indicating on the form, "Attach file (one file - use a zipped folder for attaching multiple files)"

Saves me programming time and puts the onus on the user(s) to do some of the labor themselves. 80/20 rule basically...

You can put the file attachment in a repeating table and then have a button that adds a new row to the repeating table.

The code for how to add a row to a repeating table is on this site in multiple places depending on the code language you use.

We use this concept on a few forms.
