Submitting a form to multiple emails pulled from fields on the form

    Hi,

I am trying to get a form to be emailed To > email1@address1 and email2@address2 (2 static email addresses - this works fine) but also want the email copied to any other email address which is added to 3 fields on the form. So if field 1, 2 or 3 contain @ then CC them to the email.

Tried a number of things such as added seperate submittion rules for each email address, concatinating the emails together, checking if all three fields contain data and then concatinating the emails and sending.

Currently I have a button on the form which has rules which firstly make sure the emailing version of the form is emailed to the email address and then copies a copy of the form to a sharepoint list the form is then closed.. I have tried to add the fields to the email submission action but as above the tries have not worked.

    Any advice?

    Thanks

Okay--first know I am not expert but I would think a CONCAT would work in this.  In your data connections modify your email submit, in the cc field click the fx button click concat--you should see CONCATE (Insert field,)  in the insert field click the field with the email use a comma add the next field ect.

The best suggestion I have is try it and see if it works or listen to someone who knows more than me (most people on here) --- I learned a lot just by trial and error.

    Good luck!

    Hi Smander

Thank you very much for your reply.

I did try the CONCAT and for some reason that didnt work as not all the fields contained data.

I got this working in a round about way. As only one email address should have been added to the 3 fields on the form... I added a hidden field which is populated from the data from the three fields. This then meant that i only needed to look in that one field to see if there is an email address.

I then used this field in the CC email option.

Might not be the best way but it works so I'm happy with it :)

    Thanks
