I have a challenging one for anyone up to it!!!!

Background: I have an info path form... it functions as an IT Change Request. Its attached to Sharepoint.. has 9 quite extensive Custom Workflows associated with it.. (If I can make this improvement I can lose a few workflows.) So what's in my head is. Change Request is authored.. (approved via workflows).. then goes out for impact assessments by 12 (or so) functional groups. Currently each assessor, enters his/her impact assessment on a large excel worksheet. (In a version that is not compatible with the version of sharepoint Im using) So what Im currently working on is .. 1. Alternate views in my current InfoPath form.. 2. When the user clicks the " enter assessment" button it will switch to a data entry form.. small form a few questions with a repeating table to enter level of effort, by both project phase and stage. 3. Then I will have a button to submit that data to the "assessment worksheet" and clear the form for the next entry. 4. Data from the worksheet will prepopulate on the "change request" view....and subsequently in the sharepoint list. my issue is I dont want to have to code.. well I dont really code. I do all of this via the sharepoint designer wizard. .. So there is a limitation I understand. But with 12 fuctional groups filling out multiple phases and stages of hours.. how can I avoid the actual coding to each field individually i.e. field 19=field 19.. I really would like it to just fill in the next blank row in the assessment worksheet. Does that make sense? Any help will be great. !!

Sorry but 12 groups need to be involved in change control? 9 workflows?

    Hello red tape and politics!

Has anybody put this process down into a diagram? I'm betting there is overlap and wastage somewhere. Workflows work sequentially. 1,2,3.

If you have a screen shot of your assessment form, upload that. 19 fields isn't that many.

It sounds as if you want a repeating table to copy to a field or table.

You might want to look at the inbuilt SPD approval workflow.
