Hi there,

I have an existing Infopath 2010 form published in SharePoint 2010 Form library. I need to modify the custom code for Submit button in the form. The Button properties displays Rules and Custom Code. So i opened the submit event with code editor. But when I open the code editor there is no way i can see the code and the event is empty. Is there a way I can get to the code behind?

Note: The current form submit button triggers a workflow as expected.

 Are you sure that the 'code' is actually rules on the button?  Otherwise you should normally see the code if there is actually any available.

If you go to File->Form Options->Programming and code is checked, you have code. Another way to verify is to go to File->Publish->Export Source Files and see if one of the files is a dll.

Note: editing with a code editor will require access to the .NET project. You'll have to ask the author where they put it.

 I did File->Publish->Export Source Files and do not find a DLL. All i find is Definition file, couple of XSD and XML files.

Thanks i am now convinced there is no code behind after I did the export, and only rules are set. Thanks all for your help
