I have a customer who against all recommendations continues to make changes directly to their SharePoint list that a form has been published to. Every time they make changes it breaks the list form template I have developed for them, and I can't find a way to re-enable the form template for publishing. When I try to publish the form after making the changes the user was originally trying to make, I get this message:
InfoPath cannot connect to the server. The server may be offline, your computer might not be connected to the network, or InfoPath Forms Services 2010 might not be enabled on the server. To fix this problem, start by checking your network connection, and then trying again.
My first thought was to try and grab the template from the ribbon bar and modify the form from there, unfortunately it will not allow me to publish from that form template either. So both my local copy and the list template copy no longer allow publication. I really don't want to rebuild this form again, so does anyone have any ideas on how to get the publication issue cleared up so I can update this form again? Any help is appreciated!
