Infopath 2010 True False Calculations + SharePoint 2010

I have a series of true/false fields that I want to help in a calculation.

My first problem is that when I set them to be TRUE by default and publish to SP they default back to false.

The second problem is the calculation part.

If my total is 15 and I have three true/false boxes, I want the calc to -5 for every false box.  I cannot for my life figure it out, either on the infopath side of the calculation OR the sharepoint calculated field.

    Help??

Could you clarify what you mean by this? Where have you set them to true? In what way have you witnessed them defaulting back to false?

Could you show what you have attempted so far? You haven't shown us anything about your form or how its fields are structured and named, so it's difficult to provide any sort of formula for this.
