I am not an infopath developer by any means, but I use Infopath for online forms through SharePoint. I am having a strange issue with one of the forms. It loads perfectly fine in Preview mode in Infoath. It's extremely slow to load in SharePoint.
Basically, it pulls in information from a standard SharePoint list. There are only about 100 items in the list or a little less. Then there are standard columns such as single line of text, multiple lines of text and people. I have it set to automatically retrieve data when the form is opened and this is extremely slow. When I turn this off, it loads fine. I can query for data with a button but this also takes too much time as well.
I have created a lot of forms and published through SharePoint with retrieving from a list and they have all worked fine. I have also done this in the same site collection as the one where the problematic form is published. I don't understand what is causing it to slow down. I have tried just retrieving one column to see if that was the issue, but it's not, it's slow regardless of the amount of content being retrieved.
Can someone help me? And please bear in mind that I am not all that savvy with Infopath, I know a good but but not all of it! Thanks for the help in advance :) :) :)
