Hi all, I need your help one more time. I've been fighting with this form for hours and at this point I need to be hit by a 2x4, or ask for your wisdom. I have a browser form created with IP2010 that submits data to a MOSS 2007 custom list and saved into a form library. The form sends a user an attached document and asks for approval. The form has a section with an "Approve" and "Reject" buttons displayed based on the status of the form (if formstatus=submitted). When the user hit the "Approved" button, the section does not display and username() and now() displays instead. Everything works fine, but when a user opens the approved form in the browser, it displays the current username as approver instead of the original approver. Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong or how to get this to work? Thanks in advance, Gus

 My guess is that you are using a default value in the field you are displaying and the default is userName(). The field is likely set to update when data changes, and every time the form is opened, it is set to the current user name. You can use a rule to set the field instead (like, when the Approve button is clicked).
