Hi i am using a people picker in my infopath 2013 form, i would like the user to picker a group or user using this control,then ill be disabling some controls using conditional formating depending on the user selected. Everything works fine if the user selects a SharePoint Group or an individual user in the people picker, used the below methods.

1. User -Using Current login user (Username())
2. SharePointGroup -Using GetGroupCollectionFromUser dataconncetion getting all the groups the user is associated with.
3. Security Group (SG)- ? (Tried GetCommonMembership but did not work in browser)
4. Distrubution List (DL)-?

Is there a way i could check if the user is a part of the selected SG or DL.

OR

Is there a way i could disable the user picking an SG or DL from the people picker.

Never mind i got the solution

Instead of using GetCommonMembership i used GetUserMembership DC and it worked.
