InfoPath Dev

I've created several InfoPath forms but have never had an issue such as this. Here's the gist:

• Approvers are selected based on the total dollar amount listed on the form.
• For some reason, when a dollar amount is entered and "TAB" is depressed to move to the next field, the Email Submit dialog box appears addressed to the approver.
• The dialog box should appear when the SUBMIT button is clicked.

Any assistance on what could be causing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I've never heard of or seen this.  Sounds like there may be a keyboard accelerator associated with the Submit button. Go to the label and see if this is the case. If so, remove it. It's possible that something got screwed up and the keyboard accelerator is no longer working. Right click on the Submit button and go to Advanced and remove any access keys.
