    How to disable infopath button programatically

    Hi,

    I want to disable the button when all required fields are not entered.

    I'm checking all the required fields validation in code,

     if (!allrequiredfields)

      {

      i need to disable the button

         }

    The button click event does not have enable/disable option.

    Please any one can me out this.

    Thanks,

    Swarna.

     I can't help with code.

    Yet, I normally have 2 buttons in 2 sections. I hide each button depending on whether my mandatory fields are filled in.

    My mandatory check button has rules which check against each field. I also have sever other fields so that I can let a use know which field is missing. In addition, on the fields themselves I have a formatting rule to highlight the missing field. The record so far is some 20+ mandatory fields.

    Wilkies0106aw is right. No code needed. Just do the needful and use a formatting rule to disable or hide the control. Easy peasy. Fie on all form developers writing code. Not needed.
