Comparing repeating field with values of another repeating table field.

Hi, i have a question on this particular issue i have a repeating table-1 which hold a contact selector and a Boolean field (IsMember) now i would like to compare the user names of the contact selector field(DispalyName) with another other repeating table-2 which populates couple of usernames on form load if the username in repeating table-1 matches with repeating table-2 the Boolean field (IsMember) should be true, I started of using "Any occurrence of name" and compared with the DispalyName if equal make the Boolean field as True but i am not getting the expected values.

You're close. Add a default value to your IsMember field (Data Source -> double click field -> click Fx). Add a field or group and specify the repeating table and then click on the dropdown underneath and select the option "any occurrence of name".

If you are selecting a repeating control, you should see it. There's a small chance you have InfoPath bug. Try closing all InfoPath instances down and reopen and select the repeater and check the dropdown. I've seen that bug one or two times.
