Hello I wanted to see if I could get some help with a question about If I have field 1 Name -- This would be a drop down list with a list of names ( from sharepoint list A ) And when they select the name it would put the e mail address for that name in field 2 ( from sharepoint list A )

As long as a correctly understand what you want to do.  The easiest way to do this from InfoPath 2010, in design mode, Make sure your Fields are visible, and your Rules Manager is visible.Highlight your  <Field 1> on your main window.  In the Rule manager pain, select New, the action.  Under the section ‘run these actions,  click add, set field Value. This will open a pop up.  Set the Field to Field2, set the Value to ‘email address’ from your list A, add a filter that states where ‘name = Field 1’  that should solve your problem. V/rDenny

Yes, you have to have a data connection established.  To create this, in InfoPath Design mode, start from the DATA ribbon, Click the Data Connections icon.  On the pop up click Add, create a new connection to: Receive data, Next > select SharePoint Library or list. Next > paste the URL of your share Point site.  Next > select the list you wish to pull data from (your List A).  Next > check the fields you want to have in your form.  (i.e. Name, Email address).  Complete the wizard. Now the List a will be selectable from your form fields (as a secondary data connection)

Microsoft has a list of these on one of it's sites. Easiest way to see what controls are included is to go to File->Form Options and change the Compatibility. It will hide the controls that aren't supported and the Design Checker will also tell you what's not supported. For 2010, most features are supported, so you shouldn't worry about missing features.
