    Infopath form

     Hi All,

I have created an Info path form with Multiple rules.

So i added a rule saying if field 1 is populated set value to fields 2,3 4 5 6 and in field 7.

    When i get to rule 7 i added the following in the insert formula      TRANSFER_PRICE[Item_Number = ITEM_NUMBER] + Transfer_Price * 1.1

So if I select the value that should apply this rule it works with no issue. The issue is when i change the value ( Imagine a user makes a mistake and wants to change  ) I was expecting the form to remove the value in field 7 but it doesn't.

    Does anyone have any ideias?

Sorry if i am not very specific but i am new at this.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi RVENTURA,

I'm not sure how your form looks like with all the rules, but sometimes these fields retain the inital values entered. This is just a hunch but have you tried adding a rule to clear all fields involved when setting the initial value (field 1) to blank? It would also be great if you could attach a sample so that we may have a clearer view of the issue.

To clear up all those populated fields, simply add a rule to the initial field (let's say field1 and call the rule Clear Fields) that runs on the condition that field1 is blank. Below the condition, add an action rule that sets a field's value. For the Field, select the field which you want to clear up, and leave Value as it is (blank). Add more actions to the same rule and perform the same procedure to the rest of the fields involved. This should be able to reset the field values and receive a new one once it's populated.
