IP Form via WorkFlow post to SP Calendar, won't post more than one event per day

HELP! SP 2010, InfoPath 2010 -  I have an InfoPath form that is connected to a SP Forms Library. I have a Workflow on the library that adds an item to the SP Calendar on the site. It works fine until I try to add more than one item to a date. Then I get an error in the Workflow.

"The Workflow could not be updated, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information."

The Workflow simply adds an item to the calendar with the fields Meeting Title, Start Date, End Date. As I said it works fine for the first event on a specific date, If I try to add another to the same day that is when I get the error.

My solution has to be no-code.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!!!

It sounds like you are doing a lookup that returns multiple results.  When editing your workflow, you will normally get a warning when queries can possibly return multiple rows.  Filter the lookup to restrict the results to one row.

    Hi Jim,

I'm not using an SP lookup if that's what you mean. I did not get a warning in my Workflow. Here is my Workflow

Create item in Request Calendar (Output to variable: create)    the fields are Title,  Start Time, End Time and they are mapped to the appropriate fields in the Forms Library.

    Here is how it works:

    1. User fills out a Reservation Request (IP form posted to a SP forms library) with a meetingTitle, startDate, startTime, endDate, endTime
    2. I concatenate date & time to create the values startValue and endValue. These values are posted to the Forms Library.
    3. Workflow launches upon save and adds an item to the Request Calendar including the meetingTitle startValue and endValue
    4. Reservation records fine - the values show up fine in the form.
    5. When I go back and try to add another reservation for the same date, different time the Workflow errors.

    Hopefully that clairfies...

     Thank you!
