Created an InfoPath 2010 form and published to list library (SharePoint2010). Configured my one field (CC'ed) "Person/Group picker" properties under "General" as "Allow multiple selections" - then went to the list library in SP - "list settings" - "Column" and edited "CCed" and "Allow multiple selections:" to Yes - went to publish form but it alerted me that "List columns have been modified since this form was last updated. If you publish this form, the fields..." Clicking "Show Details" says "Column settings in SharePoint will be updated to match the field properties..." When i go into form in SP, do a multiple selection, and a Save, I get a warning that "The form cannot be submitted. The user does not exist or is not unique." I noticed that going back into CC'ed column "Allow multiple selections" went back to No.

 Help! Any advise would greatly be appreciated.

Well, this is one of the issues of using InfoPath to edit list forms. When the list columns change the InfoPath form can break.

My recommendation would be to create a full-fledged InfoPath form and have it map the data to the list.

I believe we have a log on how to map Person/Group picker values to a list.

I'm going to ask Don to follow-up with that info.

Sending a "Person/Group picker" would need to have a workaround, and we do have a guide for it at this link:

Scroll down the guide and search for "Submitting a Person/Group Picker to a SharePoint List". That should help you out with your form.
