InfoPath Dev

I am trying to create my first InfoPath Survey using an XML file (stored on the same drive as the xsn) as my data connection. When I open the form the questions do not populate. I checked and the file name is in the proper place. I am unsure what to do as I saw this method on a youtube webinar. I do not receive any error messages, it just opens blank

Which YouTube webinar did you watch? Was it one that Qdabra did?

 yes it was the Qdabra one... actually one on data driven design

I can get the form to read the questions in the preview mode

I can get the form to read the questions in the preview mode but not the normal mode

Are the questions on a separate site? Make sure security is set to domain trust (automatic option).

The questions and the form have not been published to a site yet, trying to get it to work on my hard drive first. Should not be a security/trust issue
