Error when opening up Infopath Forms in Powerpoint

I'm currently running on MS Office 2007 and i need to attach the infopath form into the powerpoint. The issue is when i go Insert Object>Create from file and try to open the infopath form it will show an error " Infopath cannot open the selected form". Does that means that infopath application is not a application that we can attach to the powerpoint? Or there is something wrong i did? Appreciate if someone can help me out. Thank you

    Hi Jason,

I was able to go to PowerPoint's Insert menu and select Object and attach from file and browse to an InfoPath XSN and attach it.

After attaching, I can double click the XSN and fill it out. Caveat: I'm using MS Office 2013, but it should be the same functionality on 2007 since this has not changed recently.

Make sure the InfoPath form template's security is set to restricted mode so you can double click and open.

    Good luck,

    Patrick

Thanks Patrick... Just a "beginner" question - how do you set it to restricted mode?

File->Form Options->Security and then uncheck Automatic and select Restricted.
