    double eval

     I have found several posts here related to the double eval, and I am able to replicate it. I need to add a functionality to it and I am not able to figure it out. Besides adding each item in a new line I want to add a symbol in front of the item

    so this:

    item 1

    item 2

    item 3

    would look like this

    - item 1

    - item 2

    - item 3

    can this be done? how?

    Kind regards,
    Larry

    Could you show us what you have so far? Have you succeeded in adding the newlines already?

     I have like a total field "PriorCaustic", outside the repeating table and I have set its default value to the double evel of the repeating table field "P_Caustic_value"

    substring(eval(eval(P_Caustic_value[. != ""], 'concat(";", xdXDocument:GetDOM("newline")/linebreaks/newLine, .)'), ".."), 2)

    the only issue I have with this is the first line is a blank one but other than that I get my item with a ";" at the end. I want to add a "-" to the beginning

    Kind regards,
    Larry

    How about this:

    eval(eval(P_Caustic_value[. != ""], 'concat(" - ", ., xdXDocument:GetDOM("newline")/linebreaks/newLine)'), "..")
