The following message is displayed when opening a list item:
“Stop running this script?
A script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly.
If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive.”
The message comes when user clicks on a list item to open it. User can choose Yes or No. If they choose No, the form opens after a slight delay. There is no lockup or symptoms that the computer is unresponsive. My research found a solution (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/175500) but I can’t implement it without IT Dept assistance. The solution is to update/create a registry entry that would ignore the script message. IT claims that the reason for the script message is because I’m drawing 2 mb of data via my workflow. That can’t be since the workflow is not kicked off until an update happens. I suspect there may be an issue with my InfoPath form.
The primary list is called Projects. Projects has a unique identifier called Reference Number. The related list (secondary data source) is called Event Log. Each time an update in Projects happens a record is added to Event Log using the Reference Number so I can later relate the 2 lists. The form is where I make this relationship. The related Event Log records are displayed in a table on the form. This is where I make the one-to-many relationship. The related Event Log records are nowhere near 2 mb. Perhaps the entire list is that big.
Any kick in the right direction is appreciated.
