    Arrow key navigation

How do I set my pc to navigate tables using arrow keys? I used to be able to do this when using InfoPath forms.

    Hi CarolSkeller,

I don't remember ever being able to use the arrow keys to tab around an InfoPath form. Tab and Shift-Tab go forward and back but arrow-keys shouldn't have that behavior since you need them for intra-field position movement and moving out of a field will trigger any rules on that field - that's one reason why I can't imagine arrow keys every having worked in tables.

Sorry to rain on your arrow-key parade,

    P

I have the same question... where did the arrow keys go.. I used to be able to move around the repeating tables cells using the up/down/left/right keys..   I have some of my users complaining about this also.   Did Microsoft do an update between infopath2007 and now that removed the functionality by mistake?

I was still able to use the arrow keys for navigation after InfoPath 2010 was installed. It was when Windows 7 was installed that they quit working. It's nice to know I wasn't imagining the use of the arrow keys.

I can't swear to the use of the left-right arrow keys because I always used tab-shift tab going left-to-right & right-to-left, but the up & down arrow keys allowed you to navigate up & down a column without having to go all the way across a table.
