InfoPath decimal equivalent to what data type in SQL?

    Hi,

I have a 2010 browser based IP form that submits data to SQL server 2008 via web service(custom asp.net).

    Here's my challenge:

I have few fields that have decimal(double) data type in IP form. In SQL server table I created float data type for those fileds. Now my value for the field in form  looks like this 8006. In SQL server it is submitted as 8005.77978515625

field with value 9007.98 is submitted as 9007.98046875. How do I correct it? My web service also has float data type for those fields properties.

    Thanks.

Nvm. I found it. All i had to do was change my fields properties to double data type in my web service. SQL has float data type as-is. InfoPath field has decimal data type as-is. It worked.
