populating table's fields using a button

    Hi Guys,

Brilliant site! Very helpful. Fairly new to this and seem to be a bit stuck.

My question: At the moment I have a view with a dropdown list of products - once selected this pulls info from a secondary data source to show product information, prices etc.

Now I would like to have a button that then copies that information to a table (a kind of shopping basket) and creates a new row for the next choice (for adding the next choice into a row).

Any help is very much appreciated as i've come to a dead end :)

    Thanks!

Re: populating table's fields using a button

Just to update this and give a bit more info as I can't seem to get any further:

There are 3 fields filled in on the dropdown list selection. (Price, code and description).

What would seem to me to be the best option is using a button to copy these 3 fields to the table and then adding a new row.

I'm guessing the only way is with complex code - would anyone be able to give me some clues with that?

    Thanks in advance
