 I have a 2010 SharePoint InfoPath form

We have it setup that a user can "copy" the form to create a duplicate of it by have the copy button save it as a new file with a new name. that works fine.

The issue is that on the copy version the SPD workflow that works fin on the original starts but stops with an error occurred message.

It does a few steps in the workflow but does not complete. If I run the same workflow on the original it runs fine.

Anyone seen anything like this?

I think you'll find that your original workflow or form is being 'locked'. 

I think you would need your workflow to copy the form to a 2nd library. There you could have another workflow to copy it back to your original list.

 That might be a possibility with a bit of playing around.
