InfoPath Dev

 Is there a way to iterate through a sharepoint list column WITHOUT code in Infopath 2010, specifically IFS. My basic task is to loop through the status column in a child list and populate the status field on the parent with the status of the child. 

Example.....

1 parent record, 3 child records. If one or more of the child status fields is set to "Open" then open would be propagated to the parent status field.

This can be achieved using workflows but I am not sure how to do it using OOB Infopath features.
