Can we apply filter based on current user logged in

    Hi,

I have made one form in which i have 3 views, so when any end user login sharepoint he gets submit view, user fills the fom and submit. Now this filled form has to be reviewed by a group of people/team for this to accomplish i have made one list for Reviewer's and added those users into it and set the Data connection, so when any reviewer logged in he gets Review view of the form which has some review column below wher he can put his comments.

Now the issue is we have another team(InfoSec team ) which also review that request and approve, they want when some body from InfoSec team login for review that form and he reviewed the form and he has to put some comments like on what basis he reviewed & approved so they want these comments should not be visible to other rreviwer's in that List...only his team members can see thoso comments no-one else.

Can this be done like, i can make a comment box in Review form that will only show InfoSec team member's when they login, other reviewer will see the review form without that box.

    Thanks/ Bhisham

    Bisham,

I'll assume you're using InfoPath 2010 and SharePoint 2010. In addition that your form is in a web part page, thus you're filling out the form via a web browser.

    Several things come to mind.

Create another list (InfoSec) and have a form load rule so that they have an InfoSec view which is only viewable by InfoSec members. You can also put the various "comments" into different InfoPath sections and make then viewable only to members of the list as well. You can also add a Form Status field in too.

You'll need a or some current user fields and rules to so that the current user is set each time a form is loaded up.

Thanks!! but i already have 5 views and dont want make another view because that will be diffcult for me only because i have other teams as well which review that form and required to see other comments too.

First form is to be reviewed by My team & submit then..

Then form is to be reviewed by InfoSec team & then approved by InfoSec team.

Then form is to be approved by Manager as well.

so in reviewer list i have added my team & infoSec team so they view the review view of the form once loaded.

in last we should have all reviewed & approval on single page for audit perspective as well.

I tried makeing one comment box  (on condition basis like in Reviewer name if x is there then this box will be shown but the issue is once x  reviewed the form in reviewer column x will be there it will be that box wiil be visible to other as well )that can visible to InfoSec team when they open but once they put their comments i am not able hide that for other reviewer team.

If you don't want views, then I think you'll have to start having sections and hiding/showing as required. Personally 5 views is nothing.

As an aside my basic form has a minimum of 5 views before I've even started. It's based on various best practice comments/blogs etc. that I've read.
