Can fields be used in a text box?

I'm trying to create a text box for a form's output that needs to be copied. I found out that you can't copy the text and fields from IP, so I'm thinking this may be the way.  I don't want to use concat because it will be a MESS.  Also, I can't auto-shrink or grow fields so e-mail is looking iffy.  So I'm creating a text box and trying to put fields in.

     Here's what I've got:

         Dear @Setup_Contact,

We are delighted to b@Client_Name  ’s new service provider.

     And here's the xpath:

         Dear ../dfs:dataFields/d:Client_Table/@Setup_Contact,

We are delighted to b../dfs:dataFields/d:Client_Table/@Client_Name  ’s new service provide

When I try to validate that I get this error:

    Expected value type: end-of-string

    Actual value: ..
    Dear -->..<--/dfs:dataFields/d:Client_Table/@Setup_Contact,
We are delighted to b../dfs:dataFields/d:Client_Table/@Client_Name  ’s new service provider.

Can I put fields in a text box like that or does that not work?  Anyone have a recommendation on how I can make this work?

Why not concat? I have created longer strings than the one you show using it. The function creator allows little room for error so I usually take that route instead of xpath.

Concat is useless.  I can't format the text in there with line breaks and lots of punctuation.  I really need this thing to be able to just copy/paste.  Heck, if I could have it auto-size the fields taht would be fine as well.

As usual, I figured this out after posting.  Here's what you need to do:

     1. Use an expression box
    2. Go into the properties
    3. On the Display tab, remove the check from Wrap Tex
    4. On the Size tab, remove the value from Width
    5. Click Apply and OK and you'll be good to g.
