I have two text fields; field1 and field2, both set to text data type. Their values are filled from SQL query where SQL data type is smalldatetime. field1 arrives formatted like this: 4/30/2001 while field2 arrives like this 2013-05-25T09:05:24.03. In the database they both look like this: 2001-04-30 00:00:00 and 2013-04-19 00:00:00 . Why are they showing up different and how can I control them to always appear like field1 does?
