    System.ArgumentException: Unsupported property type: long

    I'm getting an error in the Qdabra Event Log on the DBXL server below:

    Url: /QdabraWebService/DbxlDocumentService.asmx
    System.ArgumentException: Unsupported property type: long
    at Qdabra.Dbxl.Domain.Document.PopulateProperties()

    Can someone point me in the right direction on where to look to clean up this error. The form data is being written to my SQL database, but throws this error each time.

    Thank you for the post Tenbau, you have uncovered a bug with promoted properties.  I have entered this into our bug database and it should be fixed in DBXL v2.8 slated for release in the near future.

    Regards,

    Jim

    thanks for the reply. As a short term workaround, will unpromoting and repromoting the properties fix the issue? I previously had promoted properties without causing this error.

    I would expect that just removing the promoted property that is type 'long' would be sufficient.  Can you send the xsn to support at qdabra dot com for us to check?

    Thanks,

    Jim

    The template has several long values, mostly used to store currency amounts.  The last two promoted properties, Gross Asset Value and Net Asset Value are both longs.  I would try first removing those.
