Stop SharePoint submit when Insert into database fails

I am inserting via DBXL into a database that currently has a primary key that is a non-identity key.  When I submit a new record where the primary key is duplicated, it should not insert into database and that is correct behavior however in this situation my form is still submitting to SharePoint when it shouldn't.  How do I stop the form from submitting to SharePoint when it doesn't insert into db?

     Hi Doreen,

DBXL currently does not have this feature, but I'll add a request to consider this as an enhancement.

    Thank you.
