Rich Text field in Repeating Table Published to Sharepoint issue/question

I have an Infopath 2010 form that publishes to Sharepoint 2010.  I had a plain-text field in a repeating table that published to sharepoint where it provided a column showing the contents of the last text box (using fuction: last) when publishing it.  Due to user need, this was changed to a Rich-text field.  However what wasn't immediattly apparent, is it now only shows the contents of the first text box in this sharepoint column.  Looking at the column in the publishing settings, the first, last, count merge options have been changed to allow 'Plaintext'.  Is there no way to get the richtext field to show the most recent entry?  If I revert the field back to plaintext, it warns it is going to lose all data currently stored in that column, and that isn't going to be acceptable......

    Thanks

I just tried it out on a new form and it looks like when a rich text field is promoted there is no option other than plaintext. Looks like a limitation of InfoPath!
