    Automatically populating a repeating table

    Hi,

I'm a novice user trying to get Infopath to create a status report.
If a task that was worked on last week isn't 100% complete in the report, it should become a planned task for the upcoming week.

The report I've created has 2 repeating tables.
The first table contains the tasks worked on last week (description, percentage complete, estimated completion date). The second table contains the tasks planned for the coming week (description and due date).

I've got as far as adding a checkbox to the 'last week' table that copies the row into the second table if ticked.

The problem is that when I add a second row to the 'last week' table and check the 'copyto' box, the rows in the 'this week' table all get updated with the current row in the 'last week' table instead of a new row being appended to the planned tasks in the 'this week' table.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Thanks.

    Claire,

It sounds like an XML Schema issue to me. Have you had a look at this good how-to on how to create a "same as" check box:

This might help you get going in the right direction

    Thanks Ted.
I've had a play around and got this working as in the tutorial but I'm having trouble applying this 'copy-to' function to tables with multiple rows.

How do you suggest I acheive this?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
What I undestand from your problem is to copy the last week worked tasks(first table) in second repeating table, you need a code to do this.
