I have a multi-line text box, it's value is picked up from a SP list based on a selection.
Address[Title = Supplier]

In the list, the field text contains line breaks (it is a rich text box).
However when the calue is populated into the IP form the line breaks are removed and the value is all on the one line.

Is there a way to retain the line breaks?

Do you know how the line breaks are actually stored in the list? Whether they are stored as <br />s or as newline characters?

They are stored within <div> tags

e.g. <div>my house</div><div>my street</div><div>my town</div>

You put me on the right track thanks, I change the multiple lines of text format from rich text to plain text. It has now removed all the html from the contents and the text wraps as is entered.

Printing changes the line breaks into paragraph breaks but I guess we can live with that
