    I'll have to see if I can repro this - I'll try to get to it later today / early tomorrow.

     Delete is working fine for me in my form / list. I think we need to verify refresh is executing in your form - can you add a rule to display the QdabraRules result node after your refresh command executes?

    Hilary,

    The error and results node are already on the form on the Benefits tab.  I submitted a new form, with a savings of 123.  I then viewed the form in the savings list.  I do not get anything in the results node when the form is submitted.  I changed the savings amount to 456 and submitted the form.  I do not get anything in the result node, but the savings item has the updated savings of 456.

    I then closed the form and reopened and deleted the 456 savings entry from the repeating table.  The error node contains:-Failed to generate new Batch from mapping.

     Can you please check and see if Refresh is working? When you open your form, after the Refresh command runs, there should be something in the results node - even just that the items match. You may need to disable other commands that run after Refresh to verify this, or copy the results node to another field.

    Re: Upgraded Qrules to 4.3 and Commands are not working

    I am assuming the refresh is working becuase if I change one of the repeating table items, the list gets updated.  I am not getting anything back in the result node when the form loades or after I delete the item from the repeating table. The items list is definetly getting updated when I update the repeating table, I have checked many times.

     After I delete or add a savings item to the repeating table, this is the command that runs - SubmitToSharePointList /submit=Savings Web Service Submit /mapping=savingsmapping /id=my:ID /dsname=AddAttachment /xpath=/my:myFields/my:Files.  This is the same command that runs when the form is submitted for the first time.

    This is the refresh in the finsihedloading - RefreshSharePointListItems /dsname=Refresh /mapping=savingsmapping /mode=Update

    I am using the same submit command after the changes are made.  Do I need to do a refresh after the submit?

     I am using IE9, with IP 2010 and O365. Our 365 tenant has not been updated to Wave 15 yet.

    Re: Upgraded Qrules to 4.3 and Commands are not working

     The refresh command should update your XML with the latest from the SharePoint list - I'm obviously not explaining well what I'm trying to find out. Deleting is part of "refresh" - when the refresh command executes, we store a list of the current IDs for list items in the XML - then the next time you Submit, we can find out what needs to be deleted from the SharePoint list - IDs that where in the form originally and now are not. My suspicion is that for some reason, refresh is not working correctly. What you are describing - changing items in the XML and them being updated correctly in the SharePoint list - is just part of the Submit command.

    The Refresh command should always report something in the Results node if it is running correctly - even if it just that all items between the form and list match. Can you just add a message box to the same ruleset that executes the Refresh command and have it pop up to verify the rule is executing? Have it show the value of Results?

    Your QdabraRules data source looks off again - did you walk through the data connection manually again?

    Originally, I forgot to check for the qRulesLastModified attribute, but I see you have that on your ID node. I think at this point, I would try with a simple form and just set it up with Refresh and Submit to try to track down whether it is the form or something else that is causing the issue.

    Re: Upgraded Qrules to 4.3 and Commands are not working

    Thanks for you time Hilary!

    After hours of trying to find out why this is not working, I decided to create a new blank client form in a differnet test site. I added a 3 column repeating table and a button to submittosharepoint(SubmitToSharePointlLib).  I injected the form as a 2010 client, and I created a mapping(mapping.xml) to map the three fields to a list(TestingQdabara43)  I also added the result and error nodes to the form.

    Although my submit is working fine in the old forms that were using 4.2 originally, this new form that was created and injected with 4.3 is not sumbitting to the list.  The error message I am getting when submitting is:

    Action: SubmitToSharePointList. Arguments: submit: ShPSubmit mappingName: mapping id: my:ID . Details: Index (zero based) must be greater than or equal to zero and less than the size of the argument list.. Stack: at System.Text.StringBuilder.AppendFormat(IFormatProvider provider, String format, Object[] args) at System.String.Format(IFormatProvider provider, String format, Object[] args) at Qdabra.Tools.RulesLibrary.Commands.SubmitToSharePointList() at Qdabra.Tools.RulesLibrary.Commands.RunCommand(String commandName) at Qdabra.Tools.RulesLibrary.Commands.ExecuteCommand()

    The command in the submit button is = SubmitToSharePointList /submit=ShPSubmit /mappingName=mapping  /id=my:ID (The field ID is capitalized)

    The Mapping file is :

    ?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
    <myFields lang="en-us">
      <Mappings mappingName="TestingQdabra43">
        <ListCollection useName="false" ListName="TestingQdabra43">{72997136-35EB-4AD3-97B6-4E16F901B04B}</ListCollection>
        <IsRepeating>true</IsRepeating>
        <RepeatingGroup>my:myFields/my:group1/my:group2</RepeatingGroup>
        <Relationships>
          <RelatedList />
          <RelatedListId />
        </Relationships>
        <Mapping>
          <FormField IsRichText="false" IsId="true" IsAttachment="false">my:ID</FormField>
          <SharePointColumn />
        </Mapping>
        <Mapping>
          <FormField IsRichText="false" IsId="false" IsAttachment="false">my:Title</FormField>
          <SharePointColumn>Title</SharePointColumn>
        </Mapping>
        <Mapping>
          <FormField IsRichText="false" IsId="false" IsAttachment="false">my:Value</FormField>
          <SharePointColumn>Value</SharePointColumn>
        </Mapping>
        <Batch OnError="Continue">
          <Method ID="1" Cmd="New">
            <Field Name="Title" />
            <Field Name="Value" />
          </Method>
        </Batch>
      </Mappings>
      <SharePointListURL>https://kennametal.sharepoint.com/sites/testing</SharePointListURL>
    </myFields>

    In the Form Options I have the form set to Client, with Domain Security.  This is the way all of the forms are currently configured.  I had to press the remove code again, I have no idea how that is getting populated.  I am also haveing the same issue that the thread started with in the dll and form not matching. I attached the basic form to see why this is happening.  I may have something wrong with the 43 install?

     Can you inject a blank form with your 4.3 build and attach it here? Just save a blank form, inject and attach - don't make any changes to the template. Thanks!

    Re: Upgraded Qrules to 4.3 and Commands are not working

    Okay - looks like your qRules install is fine- this form has a DLL that is 4.3 and the XML for the data connection is also 4.3

    You asked about how you are adding code - if you right click a field in the data source, one of the options is "programming" that allows you to add events. The developer tab in the ribbon allows you to add events. The properties of a button allow you to add events - generally, the dev environment opens when we do any of these things. Is that happening while you are working on your form?

    Re: Upgraded Qrules to 4.3 and Commands are not working

    I am not adding code to the form, I know how to add the code.  When I click on the form option, there is a button in the programming tab name "remove Code".  I am not adding any custom code, but this button is able to be clicked many times.  I will click the button, then a few days later if I am having problems like I am now, the button will be able to be pressed again.

     Were you able to look at the form I sent that will not send to the list?  I am referring to the error:

    Everything was working fine with the forms using 4.2.  After updating them with the 4.3, I seem to be having many issues.

    Re: Upgraded Qrules to 4.3 and Commands are not working

    To eliminate any type of corruption, I created a new site and a new blank form.  Injected and created a mapping.  I can sumbit to the library and the list with this new form.  It is setup identicle as the last one.

    I added another button for the refresh.  I have one button for submit - SubmitToSharePointList /submit=ShPSubmit /mapping=mapping /id=my:ID

    and one button for refresh - RefreshSharePointListItems /dsname=Refresh /id=my:ID /mapping=mapping /mode=Update

    I have also added the  result, error and qRulesLastModified fields to the form so I can see everything that is happening. (The refresh has also been added to the finished loading)

    When I add items to the table and press the submit they are added to the list.

    •  Each item get a lastmodified entry with the time it was added ( I added 2 items)
    • Result and error node are empty

    If I refresh after making a change the result contains - Report for mapping: ItemList. All items match.

    I have also tested on another form that I am using the refresh.  After deleting an item, and refreshing, the error I am getting is:

    Failed to refresh list items: Failed to select node for SharePoint list ID :/my:myFields/my:Plants/my:group2/my:ID

    This is the path to the ID file in the repeating table

    So far so good

    If I delete an item from the table and press the submit button

    • lastmodified entry for that item disappears and results and error is blank
    • If I look in the list the item is still in the list
    • I press the refresh button on the form result=Report for mapping: ItemList. All items match
    • The item is still in the list and is not deleted.(1 item in form, 2 items in list)

    If I close and reopen the form, there is one item left in the table and there is still two items in the list.  The result field has-Report for mapping: ItemList. All items match

    Am I missing something, I attached the template

     Thanks for setting up a fresh try. I'll set up a test list to match yours and try this exact template so we can see if it is the template, the server, something else. It may be late tomorrow before I have a chance to do this. As I stated further up the thread - with a qRules 4.3 test form I created, deleting from the form also deleted from the list.
