    Upgraded Qrules to 4.3 and Commands are not working

    I have a form that I have been using for quite some time.  I had to update my qrulesfrom 4.2 to 4.3 due to a MS ticket I had opened, and now my Qrules commands are not working.  This form has the submit to sharepoint command, DateDiff and others.  The DateDiff command that is on the EventEndDate field does not return a Result or an Error.  I have re-injected the form twice ,modified and created a new data connection to my mapping (savingsmapping) with no luck.  Can someone take a look at my template(attached) to determine why this is not working.  I do not get a result or error back when the submittosharepoint command is issued either,

    Here is the submit command - SubmitToSharePointList /submit=Savings Web Service Submit /mapping=savingsmapping /id=my:ID

    I am sumbitting after I submit the form using the default submit

    Here is the DateDiff - concat("DateDiff /date1=", ., " /date2=", ProjEventStart, " /component=weekdays")

    I am using IP2010 with O365.  This is a client form.

    I couldnt attach more than one file so here is the mapping:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
    <myFields lang="en-us">
      <Mappings mappingName="Savings">

     Looks like custom code was accidentally added to the form. Go to Form Options / Programming and click the remove code button and save, then re-inject, unless your custom code is intentional? If so, let me know and I'll get you a link to a doc on how to do that.

    I noticed that after I posted. I do not have any custom code in the template but have seen this happen before.(you helped me previously and the issue was with the custom code even though I had not added any)

     I removed the code and re-injected the form.  Still have the same problem.

     Thanks - it looks like maybe the QdabraRules data connection had been walked through via the wizard?

    And the QdabraRules XML is 4.2 while the qRules DLL is 4.3, which will cause qRules to fail. Here's a version I've tidied up and re-injected. Can you try it?

    Re: Upgraded Qrules to 4.3 and Commands are not working

    Hi Hilary,

     I am eastern time and was out of the office when you sent this.  I saved locally and received errors about the version when I tried to preview the form.  I had to repoint my Qdabra data connection to the Qdabra.xml file and then everything worked,

    Can you explain to me how I would be able to tell if the XML is a different version of the DLL?  Can you also let me know what you tweaked to get everything working again?

    Thanks for the great product support!

     So - a lot of time I just save forms as source files. You can look at the properties of the DLL (right click, properties) to see the version on the details tab. In the QdabraRules XML we can see a version number as well - those need to match. For your form, under the resource files in the UI, I removed the two XML for QdabraRules - I don't know how you ended up with two. I left the data connection in place. I saved the form as source files, then, in the source files, just for good measure, I deleted the DLL. Finally, I re-injected and then I right clicked manifest.xsf and selected Design and used File --> Save As to pack it back up.

    Hi Hilary,

    I cant seem to get the delete to work using the RefreshSharePointList command.  Everything updates but when you delete an item from the repeating table it does not delete in the list?

    I have the RefreshSharePointList rule in FinshedLoading - RefreshSharePointListItems /dsname=Refresh /mapping=savingsmapping /mode=Update

    I double checked your walkthrough in setting this up and everything seems to be configured correctly.

    I saw a few old posts were this was occuring and a fix needed implemented.  Are you aware of any problems with deleting using 4.3 and O365?  I have attached the template.

    Re: Upgraded Qrules to 4.3 and Commands are not working

     This looks right - the Refresh command is on the finishedLoading node, so would execute before anyone would be able to delete anything & you have an ID field indicated, which you'd need for the refresh. I'm assuming you are executing the SubmitToSharePointList command again prior to expecting items to be deleted.....

    Is this in filler or browser? That is, can you try the form in Filler and see if it behaves differently than in the browser (if browser is where deletes are failing).  Can you check the QdabraRules error node after your SubmitToSharePointList command and see if there is any info there?

    Re: Upgraded Qrules to 4.3 and Commands are not working

    This is a filler form.  I added the node and do not receive an error or results back after deleting the item from the repeating table.

    I create a form and the repeating items get submitted to the savings list

    I then go to the form library and open the form, remove one of the lines from the repeating table

    Submit using the submit to sharepoint and the savings item that I deleted is still in the list

     I am also sending attachements to my savings list and that is working fine.

    Re-attached template
