I have created one infopath form. There are multiple views. But When i publish form, it gives following error. Form template: http://FormLibraryURL/Forms/template.xsn InfoPath cannot open the following view: View1 The XSL transform for the View XSL failed. InfoPath A call to XDocument.GetDOM failed. The DataObject "Test" does not exist. Error occurred during a call to property or method 'GetDOM'. I have deleted all controls and views, still getting error. How can i fix this issue?

You deleted View1 as well? Basically the error is saying that something in the view is using a data connection that no longer exists. I usually save the form as source files and check the manifest.xsf and the view files for those references when I have this issue - if you need help with that, you can attach your template to a reply (under the options tab) and I'll give you a quick hand.

Hillary, I am having this issue with a form I have. And, I am struggling to search through these files and find something that is actually causing the error. Would you be able to assist?

You bet - want to attach it under the Options tab?

Attached the file giving me the error. I really appreciate your help with this issue. The alternative is that I rebuild it.

    This is the error.

Infopath cannot open a new form.
There was an error in the calculation code.

This template doesn't give me an error on preview or on open. I searched the form files and there is no reference to GetUserProfileByName. There is code in the form, but I used a decompiler to review it, and it doesn't appear to do anything - I think it was accidentally added....

That is so odd. I published to a different Sharepoint site after I got your note. And, it loads a new form without a problem. So, I went back to the old site, deleted the old library, re-published the form and I keep getting an error something like Error on Calculation. I published to a library named something else and it works. I am wondering if there is a Sharepoint content type that needs to be modified. Sorry for bothering you, at least I got a work-around. Thanks so much.
