I was hoping someone had a solution for summing a value based on a one to many dates.    Please see example.  thanks!

Could you clearly describe what it is you want to do? It's not clear from your post or from your example.

But of course...

If you have a repeating table that has a date field and a value field.   I'm interested in totaling the value field for a certain date.

Row 1:  10/14/2012  -  Value = 7

Row 2:  10/18/2012  -  Value = 6

Row 3:  10/14/2012  -  Value = 3

======== 

Total for 10/14/2012 = 10

Total for 10/18/2012 = 6

Please give the attached form a try. The important parts are the conditional formatting on the second repeating table, and the formula in the Calculated Value box in the Value column.

That is monumentally impressive.   Very outside of the box and exactly what we wanted!   Took awhile to get my head around it, but awesome!
