InfoPath Dev

 I downloaded qRules and have been able to figure out the basics of how to use it. What I am trying to figure out though is if it possible to use qRules to update the items in a repeating table using a SharePoint list as a secondary data source? I've gone through different posts (http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/qrules/entry58577.aspx and http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/17693/61874.aspx#61874) similar to this request but have not been able to get any of them to work.

Thanks for trying out qRules. You can use the SubmitToSharePointList command to map repeating data to a SharePoint list.

Hi - to add to what Ernesto posted, the data will have to be in the main data source of your form to submit or update - so you'll need to copy the data from the secondary data connection into your main data source. You can use the qRules CopyTable or Insert command for this - the important part is that you'll need to be sure to copy in the list item ID from the secondary data source into your main data source and be sure to map the ID field - qRules uses this ID to know whether to add a new item or update an existing item.
