I have an external item picker connected to a SD ECT within an InfoPath form. In order to simplify things I want to remove that first button "Check if External Item Exists" but I can't find a way to customize the control. An alternative would be to put the "Select External Items" code behind my own search button but there is a ton of code here. Also, on the postback even though all identifiers are set, only #1 returns. I have seen lots of posts all over the place regarding the External Item Picker concerning properties but nothing else. Anyone ever done this?
