Sum calculation with filtered repeating table

    Hello,

I have a repeating table and a drop down box.

The drop down box filters the repeating table.

I use a rule condition: "Field in repeating table , is not equal to , field from drop down box" then Hide this control.

    1. The filter works great, but if the drop down box is on select I want to see the complete repeating table.

    2. Now I have a "sum(@field in repeating table)" It's calculating everything in the repeating table. But I want the sum of the filtered repeating table.

    1. Set the value for the Default to be " " or something.

    2. Use an xpath filter something like ... sum(@field[. = "foo"])

    1. in de drop down box. The first value they can choose is   value=" " Display="Select..." so that is not working.

    2. is I try sum(@field in repeating table(@Other field in repeating table = Drop down box) that's not working to.

The formula contains one or more errors:

"does not point to a valid lacation path of a fiel or group."

If I use sum(@field in repeating table(. = Drop down box) it is working. But I want to Sum the worked hours and filter by department. (drop down box contain's departmants.)
