    One sales person does any sales

    Hi,

    I have two list on sharepoint.

    List 1. NameOfSellerID; NameOfSeller

    List 2. SalesOccasionID; NameOfSellerID; Product; Price; Date;

    I would like to create a form where the seller first enter their name (drop down list from list 1) and then are able to add multible sales to list 2 and submit.

    The issue that i cant solve is that the seller shoud only enter the seller name once and then add multible sales.

    Tips, articles, recommendations, threads, etc?

    br Bertrand

    Hi Bertrand,

    I would use an InfoPath Form (full fledged InfoPath XML form not a list form) to do this since you can have it submit to multiple lists and you can add validation to prevent them from entering the seller name more than once. Hilary Stoupa did a nice webinar related to parent-child forms in February of last year. You should be able to find it on our Qdabra Youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WftCp_EbcCU.

    Best of luck!
