Hello Hilary - glad I found this website and QDABRA...the solution that you provided here was exactly what I needed.  I am new to IP and needed to create a Time Sheet for my consulting business.  This is great since I've been struggling with this issue on and off for several months and was going to give up on IP and create the Time Sheet in Excel.  I viewed one of the QDABRA training videos and am considering a training course.  Great!  I'm using IP13, FYI.  Cheers.

Hello Hilary - I compared your timeTest Rules and settings to what I had on my form, that I found in a book.  Large difference, so I decided to delete the rules, etc., from my form and retyped your rules.  The form has an error in the Total Hours, red dash and: (((Num...  is all that is visible.  If I mouse over, the message shows "Only numbers allowed".  Not sure why this error is happening.  The GrandTotal shows: NaN.  I had a DatePicker and another box but not bound at all and actually deleted from my form...no joy.  I could build on your sample but already have some cosmetic changes made on mine, plus I wanted to learn and understand what your code is doing.  I can't see a difference and checked the Text Box, Language, etc. settings.  I also encountered a weird and unrelated problem when trying to Publish to email, but I won't go off topic for this issue.  Thanks for any suggestions.

Attach your form under the Options tab if you'd like me to take a look...
