InfoPath Dev

So I have a Infopath form built from a custom SharePoint list. There is an attach file control in the form. I've created a column in the list called File Name and am trying to find the easiest solution to grab the name of the attachment and in the form and placing it into the "File Name" column. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You would most likely need to write code to achieve this. I can't think of anything in InfoPath (out of the box) to support this.

However, InfoPath forms based on SharePoint lists don't allow code, so that makes this even more difficult.

How about allowing users to enter a name? Is that a good enough workaround?
