    Populate Field Value

    Currently I am creating a InfoPath 2010 form with data connections associated. I am attempting to populate a "Sales" member's name and commission rate from a SharePoint list. The list is setup as a Data sources within the form.

    What I would like to see happen is when I select "SalesPerson", I would like it to auto-populate their commission rate in another field. To avoid additional data entry.

    I have tried every combination with filters and formulas, but have still been unsuccessful.

    Any help will be much appreciated!

    Follow this format (replace all highlighted fields with what you have in your schema):

    a. Repeating group: xdXDocument:GetDOM("MySharePointList")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW/d:CommissionRate[../d:SalesPerson = current()]

    b. Non-repeating group: xdXDocument:GetDOM("MySharePointList")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW/d:CommissionRate[../d:SalesPerson = xdXDocument:get-DOM()/my:myFields/my:SalesPerson]

    If you still have issues, please attach a copy of your XSN and I'll take a quick look.
