InfoPath Dev

Im sure this is a simple one but cant work it out,

I have a infopath form in Sharepoint that i need to have a link to a Shared network drive something like \\abcservername\sharedfolder\folder2,  folder 2 gets it name from a field in infopath so is dynamic. This seems to work when usign the form on local pc but once published in IE i click the link and it tries to open http:\\ and i get a blank page.

 To complicate things a little i can nto use Code and have little admin access to the server so all needs to be run in the infopath form

We still use '07 as well and Ernesto's suggestion worked perfectly for my 'file' issue as well!
