how do I write a formula to round up??

    On my "PCsAuthorized" field I have the following formula " (ClinAdjustments_Total * 0.25) * 1.03 "

I'll explain what I need: what currently displays on the "PCsAuthorized" field is a total from the "ClinAdjstemnts_Total field" that is multiplied by 0.25 and then that result multiplied by 1.03. The result gives me a decimal answer. ie. 2.340044 What I want is 3 (example). I want the result to be a non-decimal answer and be rounded up if the answer is 1.01, 2.01, 3.01 etc. or greater. How can I accomplish this? Thank you.

Hi, have you tried the round() function? I think your formula would be: round(ClinAdjustments_Total * 0.25 * 1.03). Give it a try and let me know that's not giving you the result you need.

round() will round a value to the nearest number, but you can use ceiling() to always round upwards.

Thanks so much for the help! I just did not know how to write it into the existing formula. Ceiling did exactly what I wanted it to do. Thanks to both of you for helping people like me out. Have a great one!
