Hi & welcome - do you actually need the rich text copied into your main data source, or would it be enough to simply display it on the form after the user selects the Brand? If all you need is to display it, you could use conditional formatting to hide the RT box unless the brand in the secondary data source matched the selected brand, for example. I know with ShP 2010 / IP 2010 if we have a data connection to a list with a RT field, IP will display the RT correctly - where it gets tricky is if you need to copy it into the main data source.

That's why I was asking if just displaying the rich text would be adequate for your needs - otherwise you'll need code or qRules to copy the rich text from your SharePoint data source into your InfoPath form data source.

As to the second part of your question, if you search for cascading dropdown on this forum or in a search engine online you should find some good information - here's one example. Basically, if your module is a dropdown control, you can add a filter to it to only show the modules for the selected brand. If this is a browser form for SharePoint 2007, however, you can't use filters on the dropdown - here's an example of another approach.

Can you tell me if you need to copy the Rich Text into the main data source? If not, you should be able to just display it from your secondary data source connection.

Then, as I said above, you'll either need to write some custom code to copy the InnerXml of the node in your 2ds to your main ds, or you could use qRules, which has a command for copying rich text in InfoPath.
