Refresh the form library after a new item added

    Hi,

I have a form library with Infopath Filler form.  How do i make the AllItems.aspx page to show the new item after i submitted a new item without having to hit refresh on the AllItems.aspx page.  Thanks for your help!

In SharePoint 2010, if the list or library is being shown on a custom web part page, it is easy to set the "Enable Asynchronous Auto Refresh" under the AJAX Options.   Just set the interval that you want it to refresh.

For automatically refreshing the AllItems.aspx, it will probably require editing the page with SharePoint Designer.

Either way, it won't automatically detect when you have added a form.  It just has a better chance of being current.

Thank you Jim for your response.  Yes, we can do the interval refresh but we don't want that, we want the refresh only when a new form is added.

Hi OKC_Hannah, I'm still looking for a way to get the library to refresh when a new form is added. Did you ever find the solution?
